Unfortunately, each year hundreds of thousands of dollars are spent on consulting services where the final reports lay on shelves collecting dust, or implementation is not followed through for effectiveness. At The Busch Professional Group, we do not want our work and your money to go to waste. We believe that our job is not done until your goals are not achieved, until agreed solutions are implemented, and your organization is on the road to growth and success. Therefore, at the onset, we will commit to an introductory cost-free analysis of your challenges and have a frank discussion to determine if our associated consultants are right for you. This pre-Phase One dialog will inform us regarding the depth and breadth of your needs and help us prepare a fair, cost and activity-detailed proposal. With rare exception, our associates prepare proposals utilizing our multi-phase implementation approach: The Busch Multiphase Consulting Model TM. Our intent is to present to our clients phases of our services to enable the client to make a prudent decision regarding level of services desired from The Group. Our proposals typically include phase outcomes and descriptions, activities and methods of engagement, the intended audience, the time commitment, the biography and information regarding the associate consultant, and the expenses (less reimbursable transportation and lodging). Clients are then encouraged to discern which phases and to what degree they desire our services, but are at liberty to add additional phases as the work is underway. However, we do not remove phases from the initial contract without cause, simply because each consulting plan is carefully contextualized and customized for each client and based exclusively on needs and goals. Therefore, changes to the implementation plan at this point may result in misaligned processes, failure to achieve goals, and unsatisfactory results.
We know that The Busch Professional Group associates will provide excellent support to Phases One, Two, and Three , but we believe that the fourth phase is frequently the most critical, and most often ignored by traditional consulting services. Phase Four provides the follow up assessment based on agreed periodical reviews and informs the client, from the experts’ perspective, if the implementation is advancing the originally agreed upon goals, or whether additional modifications need to made to reach the project’s goals. At The Busch Professional Group, we believe this level of service separates the dreamers from the achievers.
